Apple, Ashmead's Kernel

An heirloom variety. Small to medium-size fruit is golden-orange with russet skin. A high quality dessert apple that makes a good addition to hard cider. Ripens in October and keeps well in storage. Moderately disease resistant. Potted 3’-5’ standard, requires a different variety for pollination. Not a good pollinator for other varieties.
